As I Lay Dying veröffentlichen ersten Trailer zu „Shaped By Fire“

Vor noch gar nicht allzu langer Zeit haben As I Lay Dying ihr nächstes Album angekündigt. Dies hört auf den Namen „Shaped By Fire“ und erscheint am 20. September.

Es handelt sich hier um den nunmehr siebten Longplayer der Bandgeschichte und zeitgleich auch den ersten vollwertigen Output nach sieben Jahren.

In einem übers Wochenende veröffentlichten Trailer taucht die Band in den Schaffensprozess des zuletzt veröffentlichten Titeltracks und des entsprechenden Musikvideos ein.

Gitarrist Nick Hipa hierzu: „The song is a really good balance between the old elements of AS I LAY DYING that people know which is melodic riffing and energetic intensity combined with a little bit more groove, lower tuning, a little heavier and that’s all tied together with a strong chorus and message.“
