As I Lay Dying: „Wir haben jede Menge Fans, die uns vermisst haben“

As I Lay Dying befinden sich aktuell auf großer Tour durch Europa und sind scheinbar sehr glücklich darüber, ihre Fans wieder sehen zu können.
In einem aktuellen Interview mit Metalshop TV sprach Gitarrist Phil Sgrosso nun darüber, dass er merke, dass die Fans die Band vermisst haben.
Ebenso seien sie aber auch froh darüber, ihren Fans wieder das geben zu können, was sie wollen (Via Blabbermouth).
„I think we have a lot of fans that have missed us and we have missed them, so we are getting offers from other countries coming up. It’s like, ‚Yeah, we want to go there. It’s been years since we’ve been back.‘ There’s definitely no stopping for us, but we are taking everything a day at a time to make sure the environment is healthy and positive for everyone.“
As I Lay Dying sind froh, auf der Bühne zurück zu sein
Frontmann Tim Lambesis kommentiert auch noch die Message, die hinter der neuen Platte „Shaped By Fire“ steckt.
„It’s hard to sum up lyrically what I want to say in one sentence, but I would say that regardless of what somebody has gone through, if they choose to turn those experiences into something positive, it’s a lot of work and it could take some time and healing, but eventually our most painful processes can become very positive in the end.“
„Shaped By Fire“ ist der erste Output von As I Lay Dying seit der 2012 erschienenen LP „Awakened“.
