Alazka geben ihre Auflösung bekannt

Acht Jahre haben Alazka die hiesige Core-Szene unsicher gemacht und uns mit unzähligen Shows, einer EP, einem Album sowie diversen Singles beehrt. Nun ist Schluss – die Band verkündet über ihre Socials nach acht Jahren Bandkarriere.

Bereits vergangenes Jahr verließen Kassim Auale (Gesang) und Dario Sanchez (Gitarre) die Kombo. Anschließend gab es einige alleinstehende Singles auf die Lauscher. Für mehr hat es nun allerdings nicht mehr gereicht.

Mit einem ausführlichen Statement verabschiedet sich die Band von ihren Fans:

„One day or another all good things must come to end. And as hard as it is to write these words, here we are announcing the end of ALAZKA – an absolutely incredible chapter of our lives and the wildest journey we could have never imagined when we started this band over 8 years ago. But over time perspectives and people change and the time comes to move on to new challenges. All the countless memories and friends we’ve made along the way will never been forgotten. We will forever be grateful for the loveliest fans we could have asked for and last but not least the incredible team of people that have always had our back in the good and the bad days.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to every single one of you. We will miss you all.“

Wir wünschen den Bandmitgliedern alles Gute für ihre Zukunft und sind uns sicher, sie in dem ein oder anderen neuen Projekt nochmal wiederzusehen.

Im März und April diesen Jahres wären Alazka eigentlich (ein letztes Mal) auf Tour gewesen; auch in UK stand eine Live-Rutsche mit Kingdom of Giants, Rarity und Resolve auf dem Plan. Corona-bedingt mussten alle Shows abgesagt werden.

In Anbetracht der aktuellen Lage ist eine Abschieds-Tournee eher unwahrscheinlich.

Die Band aus Recklinghausen brachte 2017 ihr erstes und einziges Album „Phoenix“ auf den Markt. Zuvor erschien 2015 die EP „Values & Virtues“.
