Hacktivist geben ihren neuen Gitarristen bekannt

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahre 2011 hat sich bei den Jungs von Hacktivist einiges verändert. Nach dem Weggang von Ben Marvin und Tim Beazley in 2017 und 2018 verbleiben aktuell Rapper Jermaine ‚J‘ Hurley, Bassist Josh Gurner und Drummer Richard Hawking als einzige originale Mitglieder.

Statt aber gerade nach Marvins Ausstieg die Flinte ins Korn zu werfen, macht die Kombo aus UK munter weiter und verkündete jetzt in James Hewitt ihren neuen, vollwertigen Gitarristen. Hewitt war bereits vergangenes Jahr für die eine oder andere Show zugegen und wird überdies auch als Producer für Hacktivist tätig sein.

„We are beyond excited and proud to FINALLY be able to announce our new guitarist & producer JAMES HEWITT! After months of writing/recording sessions together (and a few stealthy gigs he’s already ripped apart with us) we are more than sure that THIS is Hacktivist!

Things will be kicking off with a UK tour for ‘Independent Music Venue Week’ starting on the 28th of Jan where we will be playing some new material (Tickets: http://hacktivist.uk.com) leading into a volley of new music and videos starting early February, with some overseas shows already confirmed and many more to be announced…
