Wir sind leider nie sicher vor Meldungen wie dieser hier. Wie die walisische Hardcore/Metalcore-Band Continents jetzt in einem längeren Statement an ihre Fans wissen lassen, haben sich die Bandmitglieder dazu entschieden, das Musikprojekt aufzulösen.

Nach eigenen Aussagen falle es den Jungs um Frontmann Phil Cross zunehmend schwerer, der Band die Zeit zuteil werden zu lassen, die sie verdiene. Ein finales Konzert wird es noch geben, danach sollen die Lichter ausgeschaltet werden.

Hiesige Fans werden jedoch keine Gelegenheit mehr dazu haben, findet die Show doch im englischen Cardiff statt.

*CONTINENTS – THE FINAL SHOW* 2009 – 2019 • We recently made the tough decision to bring Continents to an end. • • For the last 12 months or so, we have been working on new material to bring to you. Unfortunately, at this stage of our lives, we are finding it a harder than we thought to give our time to the band and what it deserves. • • The last 10 years have been full of highs and lows but also at the same time we created music that we felt passionate about. We put everything we had into our live show as well as each track we wrote with the goal to have fun and possibly inspire others. • • As we look back at what we have been lucky enough to experience, we wish to thank Dom, Tom, Ken, Victory Records, Ghostfest, Maarten (Loud Noise agency), Dean Whittaker (Imperial Music), Tom at Kings Agency, everyone who put us up whilst on the road, the promotors that gave us the opportunity to play in places we never thought possible, every band we shared a stage with, but most importantly EVERYONE that came to a show, streamed/bought our music/merch and sung along for making this amazing adventure possible. • • Thank you, we honestly cannot express our gratitude enough.
