Betraying The Martyrs: Gitarrist Lucas D’Angelo hat die Band verlassen

Für die 2008 gegründeteten Betraying The Martyrs ist der Wechsel von Mitgliedern – auch an vorderster Front – nun wahrlich kein neues Thema mehr. Und auch in diesem Jahr kommt es zu einer erneuten Lineup-Änderung. Wie die Band jetz hat wissen lassen, habe Gitarrist Lucas D’Angelo freiwillig das Projekt verlassen.

Man betont im Statement, dass es diesem Weggang voraus kein böses Blut innerhalb der Kombo gegeben haben soll und verkündete in Steeves Hostin einen entsprechenden Ersatz, der ab sofort permanent mit an Bord ist.

Hostin war auch bereits am Cover des Avenged Sevenfold-Songs „Bat Country“ beteiligt, welches ihr euch weiter unten noch einmal anhören könnt. Mit Lucas D’Angelo verlässt ein langjähriges Mitglied die Band. Aktiv war er bei BTM nämlich seit 2010. Wir wünschen ihm viel Glück und Erfolg auf seinem weiteren Lebensweg.

Dear BTM fans, as some of you may have guessed by now, Lucas has decided to part ways with BTM. There’s absolutely no hard feelings between us and we’ll stay best friends forever, but he made clear he wants to explore different directions, styles of music and focus on music production, and we all wish him the very best success doing so! <3 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ That being said, we'd like you to welcome our new guitarist Steeves Hostin with open arms, who will be replacing Lucas and joining the band permanently! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As you can already hear on the cover we just put out, Steeves is a mind-blowing guitarist but also a very talented sound-engineer as well as a long-time close friend! We hope you'll welcome him nicely, show him the love he deserves, and will come meet him at our shows during the upcoming incredible festivals and tours we have planned for 2018 and 2019! Love, BTM
