As I Lay Dying: Tim Lambesis verfolgt seinen Master-Abschluss

Sänger Tim Lambesis möchte in seinem Leben nach dem Gefängnis nicht mehr nur Wert auf As I Lay Dying allein, sondern allem Anschein nach auch auf seine Zukunft fernab der Bühne legen.

In einem neuen Post auf einem öffentlichen Profil des 37-jährigen, welches er nur sehr selten aktualisert, gibt er einen kleinen Einblick darauf, was er in den vergangenen Jahren gearbeitet hat. Darunter auch den Wunsch eines Master-Abschlusses in sozialer Arbeit.

2017 habe er sich für den Studiengang entschieden und mittlerweile sein erstes Jahr dafür absolviert. Begleitet wird der Post mit einem aktuellem Foto des As I Lay Dying-Frontmannes.

A lot of people have been asking what I’ve done with most of my time over the past 5+ years. School is one of many things. It’s hard for me to sit idle, so I took almost every class I could. I got a handful of undergraduate degrees in the process, but what interested me most were courses in addiction treatment. I ended up becoming a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor and started working as a case manager for a year in the process of collecting field hours for my certification. Then in 2017 I began a Master of Social Work program.
